Pinnacle Post is an independent newsroom for people who have something to lose.
We cover the subjects that matter once basic needs stop being the question: how markets actually work, where private capital is moving, what the auction houses are selling, which streets hold their value, and how families with lives in several countries organise themselves.
We are based in Hong Kong, and the location is not incidental. Hong Kong is where East and West price each other, where capital goes to be bilingual, and where a reader can plausibly hold a portfolio, a passport collection and a vineyard argument at the same time.
What we are
A small desk with deliberate narrowness. We do not chase every headline. We publish fewer pieces than most sites and stand behind each one, in three editions: English, 繁體中文 and 日本語.
Our channels — Markets, Wealth, Luxury, Property, Mobility, Lifestyle and The Briefing — are run as desks with named editors. Every article carries a byline, a publication date and, when it has been meaningfully changed, an update notice.
What we are not
We are not investment advisers, lawyers or tax consultants, and nothing on this site is advice of that kind. We are not a marketing channel for the industries we cover; listings and recommendations are editorial, and where that ever changes we will say so on the page.
How we are funded
The site currently carries no advertising. When it does, advertising will be clearly labelled, sold placements will never be marked as editorial, and the funding model will be described on this page and our Advertising page.
Corrections
We keep a public corrections policy and act on it. If you believe we are wrong about something material, write to [email protected] and point us at the evidence.
